Welcome to Chilmark Preschool

For more than 20 years, Chilmark Preschool has been a joyful, nurturing place where young  Island children can grow, discover, and belong. Rooted in the belief that children learn best through curiosity, creativity, exploration, and connection to the world around them, we strive to foster a lifelong love of learning in a warm, supportive environment. We are proud to be part of the Martha's Vineyard community, where generations of Island children and families have helped shape the heart and spirit of our school.

A New Chapter

In September 2026, Chilmark Preschool proudly opened the doors to our beautiful new, permanent home on the Beetlebung Campus. Thoughtfully designed to welcome more Island children than ever before - including toddlers - our new building is a space for our school to grow and thrive. This exciting milestone was made possible by years of planning, generosity, and collaboration across our remarkable Island community. As we embrace this new chapter, we honor the people and traditions that brought us here, and look forward to inspiring generations of young learners for years to come.
