Thanks to the overwhelming support of the community, Town of Chilmark, Up Island Regional School District, and donors like you, we have the opportunity to build a permanent home for Chilmark Preschool on the Beetlebung Campus. We are aiming to break ground this June and open in Fall of 2026. The building — designed by Music Street Architects and to be constructed by South Mountain Company — will be modest and energy efficient, and will house two classrooms with room for up to 40 students, including toddlers. 

The project is being funded by private donations and grants. 

Please join us in taking this exciting step to ensure that the Chilmark Preschool has a forever home and will continue to provide essential early education that nurtures our island’s young children and families. Community begins here!
