The Chilmark Preschool is growing!
Thanks to the overwhelming support of the community, Town of Chilmark, Up Island Regional School District, our fabulous building team, and donors like you, our permanent home for Chilmark Preschool on the Beetlebung Campus is almost complete — on time and under budget!
We officially broke ground on June 27, 2025 and are on schedule to open the new building this September! Designed by Music Street Architects and constructed by South Mountain Company, the new building is modest and energy efficient, and houses two classrooms with room for up to 40 students, including toddlers. It is being funded by private donations, grants, and fundraising events.
We invite you to be a part of this exciting community project and ensure that the Chilmark Preschool will continue to provide quality early education for our island’s young children and essential childcare for their working families. Community begins here!
