Nora Wilcox - Administrative Director

Nora grew up on Martha’s Vineyard and returned to raise her family back on this magical little Island in 2018. Nora is a 2007 MV Vision Fellow, received an MSW from the University of Chicago in 2009 and brings years of valuable experience as an administrative social worker in the field of housing and homelessness in NYC, Providence RI, and on Martha’s Vineyard. Nora recognized the connection between having high quality, reliable and affordable child care and education to financial and family stability which in turn is integral to a stable workforce on the Island. Nora, interested in the sustainability of our up island workforce and the preschool facing building a new home, became a CPS Board member in 2023 and decided to join CPS as Administrative Director. Nora is passionate about ensuring that individuals have what they need to be their best selves including a safe and supportive educational environment in which to live, create community, grow and thrive. Both her children are graduates of the Chilmark Preschool and attend the Chilmark Elementary School currently.
